Bottled Up

Bottled Up is a multi-screen, interactive audio-visual installation by Anne Fehres and Luke Conroy, premiering as a solo exhibition at Hošek Contemporary, Berlin, in August 2026. At its centre, a single plastic bottle comes to life, speaking, singing, and moving, drawing audiences into reflection on plastic’s ecological, cultural, and psychological entanglements. Through satire, absurdism, and participation, the work moves from playful familiarity with a ubiquitous object to darker encounters with petrochemical extraction, corporate advertising, colonial trade legacies, performative activism and the uneven geographies of pollution.

The work will premiere at Hošek Contemporary in Berlin in August 2026.
